Every year, Verbier hosts the final of the Free ride World Tour as part of the Xtreme event. After touring the planet, the world’s best free riders come together for the final round of the competition on the legendary “Bec des Rosses”, culminating at an altitude of 3,222 m. The narrow corridors and extreme slopes of the north face ensure a breathtaking show. A guaranteed adrenalin rush for the audience at the Gentianes! Alongside the incredible scenes to be witnessed throughout the weekend, the emphasis is on preventing risks linked to off-piste skiing : athletes share their passion while insisting on the importance of acquiring a full knowledge of mountain conditions and of using the indispensable free ride equipment. The resort center will be enlivened by a number of free ride films shown on giant screens, as well as base jump shows and autograph sessions with the riders.
